Terms of Service
Effective: October 8, 2026
This page is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean original, the Korean version prevails.
These terms set out the conditions for using OneTable (the "Service") and the rights and duties of the operator and users. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
- Service: the OneTable global interest community where everyone writes in their own language and reads through automatic translation, and its related features
- User: a member who has agreed to these terms and created an account, or a visitor reading without signing in
- Content: anything a user posts, including posts, comments and images
- Translation: the result the Service shows after automatically translating content
2. Effect and changes
These terms take effect when published on the Service. The operator may change them within the limits of the law, announcing changes at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavourable to users). Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
3. Accounts
- You must be 14 or older
- One account per person; you may not sign up with someone else's information
- You are responsible for your account and password, and must tell the operator at once if you suspect misuse
- The operator may ask you to change a nickname that impersonates someone or is offensive
4. About automatic translation
The Service translates content automatically using the DeepL translation service and a translation server run directly by the operator. Every translation is labelled "auto-translated" and the original is always available.
- Translations are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Check the original where a misunderstanding would matter
- Disputes about content are always judged on the original text
- Reporting a translation error triggers a retranslation attempt, but the result is not guaranteed
- The external services used and the data sent are described in the Privacy Policy
5. Rights in content
Copyright in content stays with the user who created it. By posting, you grant the operator permission to:
- store, copy and display the content to run the Service
- translate the content for users of other languages, and store and display the translations
- show the title and excerpts in search, lists, notifications and digest emails
This permission is non-exclusive and free of charge, and ends when you delete the content, except that an anonymised copy may remain to preserve the context of other users' comments. The operator does not use content commercially outside the Service.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Infringing others' personal data, copyright or trademarks
- Demeaning or inciting hatred against any nationality, ethnicity, race, gender, religion, disability or similar
- Abuse, harassment, threats or sexually offensive content
- Advertising, spam, pyramid schemes, gambling or illegal information
- Mass posting or scraping with automated tools, or otherwise disrupting the Service
- Abusing translation to evade moderation
- Anything that violates applicable law
7. Content moderation
To protect the community, the operator manages content as follows:
- An AI performs a first review; content suspected of breaking the rules may be held from publication
- Content that accumulates user reports is hidden automatically until the operator reviews it
- Content that falls under prohibited conduct may be removed without notice, and repeated violations may lead to account restrictions
- To appeal a decision, contact contact@onetable.sw4u.kr
8. Changes and suspension of the Service
The operator may change the Service or suspend it temporarily for maintenance, outages or unavoidable reasons. If the Service is discontinued, we give 30 days' notice and a period in which you can download your content.
9. Disclaimer
- The Service is provided free of charge; the operator is not liable for damage arising from its use except in cases of intent or gross negligence
- Users are responsible for the content they post and for its translations
- The operator has no duty to intervene in disputes between users or between a user and a third party
10. Termination
You can close your account at any time on your page. The operator may restrict or terminate an account for a serious breach of these terms after notice (or with notice afterwards in urgent cases).
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are to be resolved by consultation first; if litigation is necessary, it is brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
