Musette & Bicyclette: A vintage cycling day on October 17th in Pouget.
A highlight on the autumn calendar: Musette & Bicyclette returns on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Pouget, in the Hérault Valley. The concept immediately appeals to lovers of vintage bicycles: bring out your most beautiful old bicycle, put on some retro attire, and set off for a ride in an atmosphere inspired by the last century.
This year, everything takes place over a single day. Two routes to choose from:
- "As du Guidon" (Master of the Handlebars), 44 km, for hiking enthusiasts: traverse the vineyards of the Hérault Valley at a leisurely pace, stopping for delicious treats, entertainment, and discoveries of local heritage.
- "Pédale Douce" (Gentle Pedal), 16 km, accessible to everyone: families, curious individuals, or those who don't have a vintage bicycle but want to experience the event's atmosphere.
Around the rides, there will be local producers, tastings, and, to end the day, a swing dance in a festive setting. This is exactly what I love about these retro rides: the vintage bicycle isn't a museum piece; it's an excuse to ride together, peacefully, and take your time.
Registration for the rides is available on the event website: https://rando-musetteetbicyclette.fr/
